Course Overview
The Queens & Crowns program is a 6-session, one-hour workshop designed to provide school age girls with the skills, mentorship, and guidance needed to boost their confidence and self-esteem through self-care and hairstyling. Under the professional guidance of Ms. Lendor, participants will learn essential hair styling techniques while building vital life skills such as self-expression, communication, and community-building.
This unique course blends hands-on hairstyling practice with valuable mentorship, creating a supportive space for school age girls to grow in both their personal and creative development. Each session will empower participants to embrace their individuality, experiment with their hairstyles, and gain a deeper understanding of how their personal appearance can reflect and enhance their self-confidence.
Course Objectives
Hair Styling Techniques
Teach participants basic, practical hairstyling skills to express their unique style. Focus on foundational techniques like braiding, curling, and straightening.
Mentorship & Community Building
Offer one-on-one guidance and mentorship to foster growth in self-esteem and leadership. Create a supportive environment for participants to connect with one another and form a sense of community.
Self-Expression & Confidence
Encourage participants to use hairstyling as a tool for self-expression and creativity. Build confidence in personal appearance and teach effective communication skills for daily interactions.
Confidence Through Self Care
Participants learn skills, mentorship, communication, and self-expression in a supportive space.
